My advice to prospective students is...

Learn everything you can about the school you're applying to and go with your gut. It's intimidating to pick the place you'll be spending the next four years in but learn all that you can, ask all of the questions, and trust yourself to make the right decision.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Pangy Day! I love the Spring and Pangy Day is a great day to celebrate the start of Spring and the end of classes with friends! There's always lots of performances, activities, and lots of food, it's just an all around great time!

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

I wanted to go to a small, liberal arts college but I was drawn in by diversity initiatives and a real sense of community that I saw both from alums and current students. I knew I would be supported in my academic career and I would be given the chance to branch out and explore a variety of different areas of studies with small class sizes and better relationships with professors.

My favorite class is...

Latinx Studies in Action! The class focused on addressing a variety of issues that the Latinx community faces both in our community and around the U.S., it was a CBL or, Community Based Learning, class. Throughout the semester, along with weekly seminar classes, I also volunteered with several classmates at a local non-profit for the semester helping students with homework and college applications. I learned so much that semester.
