My advice to prospective students is...

To embrace the opportunities for growth and exploration that college offers. Take advantage of diverse academic programs, engage with various extracurricular activities, and build meaningful connections with fellow students and professors. Remember that college is not just about earning a degree; it's a transformative journey that shapes your academic and personal identity.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

First-year plants!! Coming in as a first-year, I did not know about this tradition, where the on-campus greenhouse gives every first-year student a plant. You get to pick, and there are different species you can choose from, as well as the instructions on how to take care of them. But I love the plant I got; it was fun taking care of it.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

Its commitment to empowering women, fostering diversity, and providing a global perspective aligns with my educational goals. With its stunning campus and robust alum network, Mount Holyoke offers an education and a transformative experience, preparing me to navigate the complexities of a dynamic world.

My favorite class is...

Sicily: Crossroads of the Mediterranean. I took this class during the spring, and I enjoyed the class a lot more than I expected. The professors for this course were excellent, and what we learned about the early history of Sicily to the Sicilian Mob. This was probably the most entertaining class I've had.
