My favorite class is...

I loved my first year seminar, "What are the brain's limits?" I really enjoyed learning about the brain and getting to know many friends as soon as I got to college. The class was discussion based and we were able to discuss topics like the anatomy of the brain, the ethics behind studying the brain and how we can use these studies. I learned how neuroscience is very interconnected with almost every other study and I ended up choosing to major in data science because of this class!

My advice to prospective students is...

Talk to students! Look at everything about the colleges you want to apply to and enjoy the process of finding your new home!

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Convocation! I love celebrating coming back to campus and seeing everyone in their class colors! It is also a great time to celebrate the seniors graduating and sharing this experience with Mount Holyoke students is very unique and builds a stronger community.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

I wanted a place where I could balance athletics and academics. I also really liked the tight-knit community feeling I felt when I toured the college and talked to students. It is a place where everyone want to grow as a person and also academically which I loved about it.
