My advice to prospective students is...

Join anything and everything that interests you! I found my best friends at the Latinx cultural organization on campus, La Unidad. There are so many resources on campus for students to succeed so use them all!

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Mountain day! It’s held on a secret date every fall when classes are canceled, and everyone hikes to the top of Mount Holyoke, eats ice cream, takes pictures, and has fun. It's always so fun trying to guess with professors when the day will come!

My favorite class is...

Molecular Genetics because it was an amazing opportunity to learn about genetic inheritance, the genetic and molecular basis for disease, and so much more! Students are also able to be a part of a semester-long research experiment using molecular genetic techniques to determine their DNA sequence for a part of the CYP1A2 gene.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

Of the warm and diverse community. The classes offered cover a broad range of subjects and topics, to provide a well-rounded education to its students. Our beautiful campus is so refreshing and a source of relaxation throughout all seasons.
