My favorite class is...

Immunology with Prof. Lijek! This class opened my eyes to the field and I easily became fascinated with the immune system. I would look forward to going to class and leave super excited to talk to my friends about what I learned.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Mountain Day! Fall is my favorite season of the year and I love being able to hike up a mountain during the beautiful fall weather with my friends and get a day off from classes. It's also exciting chit chatting with friends, classmates, and professors to try predict when Mountain Day will be!

My advice to prospective students is...

It will all work out. High school can be stressful time when you begin looking into colleges on top of your academics and everything else you do. But, I would advise prospective students (and my younger self) to try to be easy on yourself and know that the pieces will fall into place.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

I did not want to be tied down to one thing. While I know I love biology, I wanted to have the chance to explore religion, environmental science, and neuroscience classes. MHC allows me to take classes that are outside of my career interest of biology, while also have a strong research program that will strengthen my skills for post-grad life.
