My advice to prospective students is...

Don't be afraid to ask questions to current students. We all were in your shoes at one point and found our way here, and we want to help you on your journey too!

My favorite class is...

Immunology. It was a perfect companion to the work I do in my independent study and I loved being able to do deep dive research into a subject that fascinates. I also love that there is a lot of independence in the class and we were able to do our own novel research in the lab. I'm actually the TA for this class now!

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

The campus culture. I felt so welcomed here and I knew Mount Holyoke is where I could find my home socially and academically. I sat in on a biology class when I was visiting as a senior that cemented Mount Holyoke as the school I was going to attend. I loved seeing how the students and professor interacted and how the students sitting around me would rope me in. The professor of that class would go on to be my advisor for my independent study! I also got to meet the soccer team and felt accepted with open arms immediately.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Mountain Day! I love having an excuse to go on a hike with my friends. It's amazing to have such a beautiful spot so close to campus and there is nothing more rewarding than making it to the top and seeing the views from the Mount Holyoke Summit House.
