Class of 2025

Hometown: Clinton, CT

Major: Psychology

Concentration: 5 College Certificate in Culture Health and Science

My advice to prospective students is...

it's ok to not know if something (a school/class/dinner choice) is the perfect fit right away! You can't really know if something is the right choice until you try it out so be open to trying things that you think are interesting and don't be afraid to decide that something else might be a better option for you.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

first year plants! During your first week on campus, first year students are invited to the greenhouse to pick up a plant that is theirs to keep (hopefully) alive through graduation and beyond!

My favorite class is...

Cognitive Psychology! Our 200 level classes (such as cognitive psych!) are great because you learn so much about one topic, sometimes even things you didn't know were related to a topic. I found this style of class really helpful when figuring out what I might want to focus on as I move closer to graduating.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

every student has so much support through advisors, deans, professors, friends, etc from the second they step on campus and everyone is here to help you thrive. If you want to try out something new, talk to your advisor and they can help you get that done! Want to pursue an independent project? Talk to a professor and they can help you! I have only met people who are eager to answer questions and help you and that feeling is really exciting.
