My favorite MHC tradition is...

Mountain Day! Mountain Day occurs once a school year, and it is a day that the President of Mount Holyoke decides. They wake up on a nice fall morning and decide to have all classes canceled, and the bell rings 100 times symbolizing that it is Mountain Day! We then hike up Mount Holyoke and there is ice cream waiting for us at the top.

My advice to prospective students is...

to take it easy; you will end up where you are meant to be. I remember being in your exact shoes and feeling worried about where I was going to spend my next four years. My mother would always tell me to take it one step at a time and to not rush anything. Enjoy the moment. Be in the present.

I love the students at Mount Holyoke College! All my peers are beyond helpful, whenever I need help on a task, I know I have several people willing to help.

My favorite class is...

Cinema & The Brain! This class was my first-year seminar class, and I still utilize the knowledge and skills I developed in that course in my academic life.
