I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

of the community I found on campus - everything from people holding the door for you as you run from slightly too far away, to the sense of camaraderie I saw between faculty and students. I felt supported in trying (and failing) at new things along with encouragement to follow pre-existing passions both academically and extracurricularly.

My advice to prospective students is...

take it easy! You may not have a "dream school" or even a list of top schools or feel like you have anything figured out and that is ok. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and you will end up somewhere great!

My favorite class is...

Renewable Energy Transition (for Environmental Studies), Discrete Mathematics (for Math), and Global Valley (for a Five College course!).

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Mountain Day! I love the anticipation leading up to it and the chance to just spend time with friends, meet new people, and be outside.
