Tour Guide at Mount Holyoke College
Class of 2027
Hometown: Denver, CO
Major: Art History
I know everything seems crazy and daunting now but I promise everything will work out for the best!
Mountain Day (Hill day - I'm from Colorado these mountains are hills)! In fall semester there is a day where classes are cancelled and we hike Mount Holyoke! At the top we have ice cream, get temporary tattoos, and have a fun time with friends. It's such a joyous day as a community!
The Built Environment with Samuel Barber! It was a 100 level art history class where we focused on architecture and infrastructure. I had a lot of fun talking about Jane Jacobs and sustainable architecture.
When looking at colleges I knew I wanted to go to a women college because I went to a very male-dominated high school. Mount Holyoke stood out because of it's beautiful campus, resources, and the general vibes of the campus. The campus has really stunning architecture and is absolutely beautiful in the fall. We have some awesome academic resources, such as the SAW Center for essays and professors office hours, as well as non-academic resources, such as counseling services. The campus is a very tight knit community of welcoming and lovely people that I am grateful for every day!
