My key piece of advice to prospective students is to really trust your gut and do what is best for you as a person. Expect to make mistakes and that college won’t be perfect, but ensure your decisions you make is with your wellbeing in mind, as this is your life you are living.
My favorite Mount Holyoke tradition is Mountain day! I am not a very physically active person but love being able to take a day off of class and do something I might not normally do. It is also so much fun to see all my peers and even professors while admiring the nature around us.
My favorite classes to take are latino studies classes! I love being able to learn more about my personal cultural, ancestors, and the history of other Latino communities.
I chose Mount Holyoke College because the location is one I felt I could have enough independence to really find myself. In addition, when touring on spring for Experience MHC I was able to sit in on classes which finalized my decision, based off my admiration for such intimate class sizes.
