I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

I have always wanted to commit to a college that supports the success of young women like myself. When I first heard about MHC from my college advisor I knew it was the perfect place for me. The academics, the alumni association, the beautiful campus, and the progressive mindsets I have seen displayed on the media of the college pushed me to apply.

My favorite class is...

Psychopathology with Alyssa Norris. I loved her course because she allowed us to work on diagnosing patients in case studies and I was able to write my final paper on a topic of great interest to me which was Forced Migration and its impact on Child Development.

My advice to prospective students is...

College itself is a new experience that we are all taking on and adjusting to overtime. New people, new location, and an immediate need for independence. Its an adjustment so be patient with yourself and know its ok to feel nervous or overwhelmed at times. That doesn't make you any less of an amazing student and person.

My favorite MHC tradition is...

Pangy Day! I love watching the amazing performances and enjoying fresh BBQ and fruits at the amphitheater with my friends.
