Mountain Day. I love hiking, so Mountain Day is a great way to get outdoors with all of my friends and the rest of the community. Plus, the view from the top of Mt. Holyoke can't be beat.
The community! Coming from a small high school, I knew I wanted to attend a college with a close-knit community. When I eat in the dining hall or go to the campus center, I know there will always be someone I know and am friendly with to say hi to or join their table. Everyone is so friendly and supportive, and it's wonderful to know so many students who are just as passionate as I am.
Come into Mount Holyoke as your most authentic self. I have found that being true to yourself, your passions, and your interests is very much rewarded here.
Educational Psych and Adolescent Development. I took both classes with the same professor, and it was so cool to see how the material in each course intersected to create a larger portrait of secondary education. I also loved my professor's approach; her passion for the subject shone through her teaching and made me excited to go to class every day.
