The Laurel Parade! And ice cream on a cold morning on Founder's Day. I love connections to Mount Holyoke's history.

Russian literature! It's all the things I care about at once - linguistics, politics, history, art, beautiful words.

I chose Mount Holyoke College because...

I loved the warmth and support I felt radiating from the campus when I spoke to current students. I could tell it is very intentional about the kind of community it cultivates, and I was happy that it was proud to accept trans and nonbinary students.

My advice to prospective students is...

It's okay if finances are your first concern when choosing a college. Also, trust your gut and your own judgement.
